Bonding to dentine occurs in our practices on a daily basis, and forms the basis of contemporary restorative dentistry. In 2021 we are in the fortunate position that we can take the concept of adhesive dentistry for granted, and many of us don’t give it a second thought. However, with the re-emerging trend of bonding shifting back towards simplification and efficiency, can we be sure we are still getting the most out of resin-dentine bonding? In this lecture, Chee will explore some of the aspects related to current dentine bonding concepts, and ways that we can maximise our results based on the latest research findings.
